Digital Art / Vector / Abstract

The image originates from a plant in my garden, I've always liked the colours and the pattern of the leaves. So I wanted to make a piece that presented these leaves in a different way. I took a photo, then vectored it in illustrator then spent the next few days tweaking and adjusting till I was happy with it.

I love the typo, very nice. I'm not convinced of the way the leaves are layered so you can see them through each other though. Or maybe they're not, but that's how i'm seeing it.
